This applied Art History research paper addresses the history of life on Earth in a series of illustrative paintings. Since there is a time line _ The History of Life on Earth Graphic _ used as the foundation and structure of the series, this research will entail a better sense of what each evolutionary stage is and means. Each stage will have its own description to help the overall concept and perhaps give me a better direction as to what exactly I will be painting. For research, I have looked through books, websites, documents, videos, documentaries and scientific and biological art from other artists. These references are crucial to help me develop a better picture and influence my own style in some way.
